Helena Maillet
1936-2021
Helena Maillet, 85, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptist, Bouctouche and
formerly of Saint-Thomas, passed away peacefully at the Manoir on
Thursday October 28, 2021. She was married to Antoine Maillet of
Résidence Au Benaise, Saint-Antoine. Born in Bouctouche, she was
the daughter of the late Donat and the late Mélina (Cormier)
LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Antoine, her four children;
Denise Maillet, Michelle Favreau (Jim), Raymond (Peggy) of Shirley,
MA, Ricky of Bangor, ME, her five grandchildren; Joshua, Danielle,
Julie, Hailey, Jakob as well as three great grandchildren; Rosalee,
Adyson and Emmett. She also leaves to mourn one sister; Marie-Jeanne
Collette of Sudbury, ON, one brother; Aubrey of Bouctouche and several
nephews and nieces.
Helena was predeceased by six sisters; Yvonne, Irène, Exelda,
Aline, Anita and Dorice as well as five brothers; Patrick, Aquila,
Alcide, Clorice and Alonzo.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday November 18, 2021 from
1:30 to 3:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday
November 18, 2021 at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church,
Bouctouche at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS AND FACE MASK ARE MANDETORY AT THE FUNERAL HOME
AND THE CHURCH AS PER THE PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
