Helen Sophie Kisilewich Lato Wednesday November 17th 2021

Free from pain after a fourth battle with cancer, Helen, 86 of Wakaw left it all behind in the early morning snowstorm on November 17, 2021.
Never afraid of Hard work or a challenge, Mom faced numerous struggles with a strong faith, persistent will and a thankful heart.
Her daughter Lydia is forever grateful to the doctors and staff of Melfort Hospital. They welcomed and cared for her with open arms four times in the last nine months.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, infant daughter Caroline in 1955, husband Ben Gayowski in 1964, husband Alvin Kisilewich in 1993, daughter Cynthia Gayowski in 2014, a sister Stella Yurkewich, and brothers John and Joe.
Helen is lovingly remembered by daughter Lydia (Dave Hettrick), sisters Mary Packota, Anne Balon, and Edna Lato, brothers Frank and Ed, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Helen and interment will be held at a later date.
Friends so wishing may make memorial contributions to a Charity of One’s Choice.
