Lifelong Ottawa resident. On November 7, peacefully, in her 108 th year. Beloved wife of the late Roy. Predeceased by her 7 siblings. Survived by her loving and devoted daughters, Dorothy (Leslie Martin), Marcia Saipe (Ted Miller), Geri Goldstein (Harris Guedalia), and Barbara Saipe (Terry Saltsman). Cherished Grandma of Lisa (Howie Adams), Frank Goldschleger (Esther Grossman), Gordon Goldschleger (Chun Chu), Barry Martin (Jodi Lastman), Sylvie Martin (Jason Baker); Daniel Freed (Leona), Andrew Freed (Daniela Merkens); Audrey (Jake Levant), Michael Goldstein (Stacy); Peter Saltsman (Chloe Cushman), Eric Saltsman (Laura Bassoon). Helen was also blessed to be the Great Grandmother of 24. Helen was the
loving and loved aunt to many nieces and nephews. We would like to particularly thank Helen Valdez, Lourdes Abarintos, and Imelda Galano for their care compassion and kindness shown to our mother over the last several years.   1. Very fond memories of the Saipe family when we were neighbours in the Glebe and my sisters and I grew up together with the girls in the ‘50’. May her memory be a blessing.
