Family was everything to Helen. There was seldom a wedding, graduation, hockey/soccer game, dance competition, BBQ, or family event that Helen missed.
There was nothing she loved more than sitting in a lawn chair watching the children laugh and play, while catching up with her family and feeling the warm sun on her face. Her unconditional love and compassion was felt by everyone she knew; her smile and contagious laughter will never be forgotten.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made in Helen’s honour to the Edmonton General Palliative Care Unit, 11111 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L4 and/or the Stollery Children’s Hospital, 8440 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7.
