In Loving Memory of Helen Lily Baker, 96 years of age. Early Thursday morning, October 21, 2021, at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Kenneth Wilfred Baker (predeceased) of Sudbury. Loving mother of Marlene Raines (husband William) of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, Allan (wife Gloria) of Sudbury and David (wife Cathy) of Sudbury. Loving grandmother of Christi Proulx (husband Terry), David Oman (predeceased), Courtney King, Carolynn Baker (predeceased), Laurie Lamour (husband Willy), Stephen Baker (wife Sherri), Vivian Cochrane, Jennifer Cochrane, Jason St. Amant, (partner Sarah) Cory Baker, Tracy Baker, (husband Josh) Jessica Wherley and John Wherley, (partner Samantha). Also, a proud Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother to many loved children. Daughter of Lyyti and Emil Pera, brother of Elmer Pera (all predeceased). Helen will be forever remembered by the lives she touched during her long time on this earth. Her devotion to the man she loved and the care she gave him in his years of need speaks volumes to her values which we should all look up to. Though her physical strength gave out in the end, her mental strength remained intact and gave joy to everyone she interacted with. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Finlandia Village for watching over her for the last 6 years of her life and giving her the opportunity to be on the receiving end of care. She will be sadly missed and eternally in our hearts. A Private Family Service will be held on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury.
