HANSEN HELEN
1939-2021
Helen was born January 5, 1939 at Ponoka, Alberta and entered into rest October 6, 2021 at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Ken; daughter, Caroline Sawatzky (Kirby); grandchildren, Karen Rout, Andrew Sherlock (Heather), sons-in-law, Jim Sherlock, Aaron Sawatzky and Paul Sawatzky (Kelly); great-grandchildren, Lily, Mia, Ivy, Mckenzie Rose, Hunter, Alannah, Liara and Tali; sister, Harriet (Dan) Liddle and sister-in-law, Gladys Hansen.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, Hans and Helena Hansen and daughter, Kristine Sherlock.
Funeral Service: Tuesday October 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel Wetaskiwin with interment to follow at Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery. Service will be live streamed. Donations if desired may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
