Helen L. Grant
1927-2021
The death of Helen Louise Grant, of Beechwood, NB occurred on October
11, 2021 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Perth-Andover, NB. Born on
October 9, 1927 in Woodstock, NB she was the daughter of the late
Harvey and Mildred (Broad) Giberson. She was also predeceased by her
husband, Burton Grant; her daughter Ruth McLaughlin; one
granddaughter, Kaitlyn; granddaughter, Brianna; and four siblings,
Margaret, Dorothy, Earl and William.
Helen is survived by her children, Betty Ruff (Arthur), Joyce Denny
(Royal), Garnet Grant (Joyce), Gary Grant (Rhonda), Doreen Harris
(Ross), Paul Grant (Dorothy), Sharon Broad (John), Barb Haines
(Brian), Connie DeMerchant (Chris) and David Grant (Aileen); 31
Grandchildren; 49 Great Grandchildren and 34 Great Great Grandchildren
as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB on Thursday, October 14, 2021
from 5:00-8:00 pm. For Covid 19 New Brunswick mandates, please have
your proof of double vaccination and photo ID ready before you enter
the building. A private funeral service will be held on Friday,
October 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm. The funeral will be live streamed on the
L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors Facebook Page at 2:00 pm, for those
who would like to join in. Interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery.
Pastors Dan and Nathan Smith will be officiating.
Memorial donations made to The Alzheimer’s Society, DunRoamin Stray
and Rescue, Gideon’s or a charity donor’s choice would be appreciated.
