Helen Faye Kay Rea Monday December 27th 2021

KAY, Helen Faye (née Rea) – Born on December 11 1949; passed peacefully surrounded by family December 27 2021 of liver disease which she lived through with such dignity and bravery.
Helen was predeceased by her parents Jack & Leona Rea and sister Janis lack. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Ross, wonderful children Colin (Andrea) and Katrina (Jody); amazing grandchildren James, Jaxon, Nickolas, Brock, Mason and McKenna; siblings John, Judy, Kathy, Bruce, Susan, Rob and their families.
Helen’s favorite place to be was in an arena watching hockey and figure skating, cheering on her kids and grandkids. She was active in the Woodville Minor Hockey Association as Treasurer and OMHA contact.
Helen will be remembered as the reception for Income Tax Plus for many years during tax season. It was there she developed many friendships and even met some long lost relatives.
Family and friends were such an important part of her life. Loyalty, honesty and devotion were traits that others admired about her. She would be the first to volunteer her time to help and share her most delicious butter tarts.
As per Helen’s wishes there will be no service.
Donations may be made to Woodville Minor Hockey, Woodville Skating Club, or Brock Minor Hockey Association.
Smell the flowers, feed the birds, take a walk – it’s the small things that make a happy heart
