Peacefully with family by her side, the passing of Helen
Bertha MacDonald (nee West) age 93, devoted wife of the late Albert
MacDonald, occurred at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon,
on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Born in Eldon, PE, December 21, 1928,
she was the daughter of the late Roberts and Emily (Miller) West.
Survived by children, Robert (Janice) MacDonald, Albert MacDonald,
Murray MacDonald and Karen (David) Virr; brother Miller (Wendy) West
and sister Louise Browne. Cherished grandchildren, Erin (Ryan)
MacDonald, Joel (Kelsey) MacDonald, Rory MacDonald, Connor MacDonald,
Graham MacDonald, Nicolle (Dave) MacDonald, Jake MacDonald, Michaela
Virr, Charissa Virr and Josiah Virr; adored great grandchildren,
Hadley MacDonald, Gillian MacDonald; nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by daughter-in-law Cheryl MacDonald, sister Roberta Cook, brother
Frederick West, sister-in-law Ruby West, brothers-in-law Charlie Cook
and Ross Browne.
Funeral Service to take place for invited family and friends
at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Dec.
29 at 11:00AM. Online condolences and donations to St.
Andrew’s United Memorial Fund, Vernon River, Kings County
Music Festival, Montague or a charity of choice may be made at www.fergusonlogan.com.
Funeral Service will be live streamed for family and friends on the
