Heidi was a loving and devoted daughter, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of family whom she always kept first in mind. She was an attentive listener always understanding and forgiving, a wonderful person with the biggest kindest heart. All who entered her home felt warm and welcomed and after being well nourished by her special or festive dinners never left without one of her fierce hugs straight from her heart. She was truly vivacious inside and out and at times feisty too.
Heidi was both artistically creative and talented, she enjoyed doing crafts alone or with her young son, Ben or her adult children. She had a love of gardening and grew the most beautiful flowers and vegetables with the help of Ben. She loved the beautiful peaceful pond that Tony made and landscaped for her, it was her sanctuary.
Heidi was adored by her husband Tony who honoured her passionate soul, the love of his life. She will be missed by her daughter, Brianna (momma) her soul partner and her grandson, Robert his “best grandma”. Heidi was very proud of her adult children and filled their lives with many happy memories.
She was beautiful, loving, kind and generous, magnificent in so many ways. Heidi was a spiritual and mystical woman with a great sense of humour. She will sadly be missed by her two brothers, Robert Matthews of Waterloo, ON and Brian Hinkel of Caledonia, N.S.; and nieces, MacKenzie and Alyssa Hinkel of Haliburton, ON; last but not least her mom, Judith Saggers and husband, Paul Perry. Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee…(Psalm 55:22)
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Heidi Annetta Steinicke July 4th 2021..
