Obituary of Heather Dawn Bulger
It’s with broken hearts that our family announces the peaceful passing of Heather Dawn Bulger, age 60, of Hantsport, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor on Friday, June 18, 2021, surrounded by her husband and three sons, after a long hard fought battle with leukaemia. She was born on January 27, 1961, in Windsor to the late Eleanor Maxine (Cochrane) and Chauncey “Duke” Alcott Caldwell.
Heather was a very strong-willed woman, loving wife and dedicated mother to her boys. Family and friends were her priority in life, and she was a loyal employee of CKF Inc. for the past 39 years.
She loved to travel and shop, with going on cruises being her favourite get away whenever she could. She would be the first person to step up and offer a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on or anything else anyone needed.
Heather is survived by her husband of 39 years, Harold, of Hantsport; sons, Matthew, of Lower Sackville; Mark, of Hantsport and Evan (Kathleen), of Grand River; brothers, Donald (Janet), of Hantsport; Bruce (Terry), of Fall River; Kurt (Beth), of Hantsport and younger brother, Rob, of Hantsport; sisters, Joanne Vaughn (Bruce) and Kathy Bishop (John), all of Greenwich; as well as serval nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Heather will be greatly missed and never forgotten by anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing her.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be a private celebration of life for the family on Friday, June 25, 2021. There will be a public drop in Celebration of Life, open to her friends and coworkers, on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. at 27 School Street in Hantsport. Please respect COVID-19 restrictions, as well as physical distancing and masking guidelines. In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society – Halifax (902-423-6183) or to the Palliative Care Unit at Hants Community Hospital, 89 Payzant Dr., Windsor, NS B0N 2T0.
