Heather Wilson 2021

Heather Patricia Margret Wilson
August 18, 1982 – March 16, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Heather, at the age of 38. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter and friend. She is survived by her son Gaberiel and his father Marty Munsters; her mother and father, Jacki and Ron Smith; her sister Jennifer Douglas, along with her nephews Jaxson and Isaak Douglas; grandmothers Patricia Kublanski and Marianne Smith; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was born in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and relocated to Winnipeg in 1997. She graduated class valedictorian from Winnipeg Adult Education Centre in 2008. In 2009 she completed her Unit Clerk Certificate at Robertson Career College. In 2010 she gave birth to her son Gabe, whom she adored. Unfortunately, Heather’s illness did not allow her to enjoy full time work. Most of Heather’s adult life saw her battling to overcome her addictions. Sadly, and tragically, in the wee hours of March 16th, she lost that fight, and was taken from us.
To all the kind people who helped Heather over the years, the family is truly grateful. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no service. A small celebration of Heather’s life will be held at a later date with family and friends. If so desired, donations in Heathers memory, could be made to the Native Women’s Transition Centre Inc. 105 Aikins, Wpg.Mb., R2W4E6, or to a charity of your choice.
WE LOVE YOU HEATHER AND WE MISS YOU!
