Obituary
HAMILTON, Harry John “Bun” (Retired Custodian from the Board of Education)
It is with great sadness, after a courageous battle with COPD and complications from diabetes nerve damage, my loving husband Bun passed away in the early morning on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Unit. Bun was the Beloved Husband to Patsy (nee Wells). “My Dearest Bun, I Love You and I Will Miss You”. Loving Father of Angie who also passed away at PRHC Palliative Care April 18, 2017. Cherished Papa to Tyler and Josh. “We Love You and We Will Miss You Papa”. Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Gloria Page (Wayne) and Carrie Patten (Bob). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Bun loved riding his motorcycle. He was extremely saddened when he had to give up his passion for riding due to his increasing health issues. My Dearest Husband Bun your suffering is over. Bun was a Kind and Gentle man who touched the lives of so many people. I Know he will be Remembered for his Kindness and Presence. Special thanks to all the staff at the PRHC Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Blake and Father Damian Smullen. In accordance with Bun’s wishes cremation will take place and he will be laid to rest with his Daughter Angie during a private graveside service held at Highland Park Cemetery. In memory of Bun, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.
