Obituary of Harold Mellor
MELLOR – Harold George Frederick of Caressant Care Bonnie Place passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Vera Mellor (nee Dukes). Harold is survived by his adored children Kevin (Mary) Mellor of St. Thomas, Martin (Mel) Mellor of Port Bruce, and Sharon (Levy) Leverton of St. Thomas; siblings Alex (Cindy) Mellor and Doris Brown (late Wayne) all of Brantford; daughter-in-law Pat Mellor. Harold is survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by son Glen Mellor and brothers Donnie and Ronnie Mellor. Harold was employed by Pepsi Co. as a service manager and retired after 32 years of service. He was in the soft drink business for over 50+ years. Harold was a member of Faith St. Thomas Church for many years and was highly involved with community services such as the yearly golf tournament, retreats and Scouts Canada. Harold was also a member of the Freemasons. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. For those wishing to attend the visitation, please register on Harold’s tribute page on the funeral home website. A private family memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. For those unable to attend the service, a livestream will be made available on Harold’s tribute page on the funeral home website.
