Obituary of Harold Cavanagh
(Life-Long Kinburn Dairy Farmer)
With great sadness the family announces that Harold Cavanagh of Kinburn passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Sunday morning, July 18, 2021. He was 88. Cherished husband of Margaret (nee Marshall). Loved dad of Elizabeth Carroll (Kevin) and David (Shirley), both of Kinburn. Proud papa of Makayla Cavanagh. Dear brother of Charlotte Lesway (late Russell) of Almonte and Ellen Preece (Peter Barr) of Galetta. Predeceased by a brother Wallace (late Helen) and a sister Anna Mussell (late Clarence). Son of the late Harvey and Isobel (nee Wallace) Cavanagh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Dr. Cheng-Boivin, the ICU nurses and the interventional radiology team at the Civic for their excellent care and compassion.
Harold’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private family graveside service will be held at Diamond Cemetery in Kinburn. A recorded webcast of the service will be available to view on Wednesday afternoon, July 21st.
