Harold Wayne Loughead December 10 2021

Loughead, Harold “Wayne” – Age 76, of Lower Truro. It is with great sadness the family of Wayne Loughead announce his passing on December 10, 2021, at home with his wife by his side.
Born in Truro, he was the youngest of five boys born to the late Robert and Verna (Graham) Loughead.
Wayne grew up in Beaver Brook, Colchester County and from the very beginning was destined to drive. He spent his life driving 18-wheelers, buses, vans…anything with wheels. It was his strong belief that if it wasn’t Ford, it wasn’t any good! He competed in 4×4 rallies where he took home many trophies!
Wayne is survived by his wife of 35 years, Vicki Russell; daughters, Sandi (Paul) Waller, Angela (Eric) Russell; son, Mark; granddaughters, Rachel, Karine, Veronique, Genevieve; great-grandson, Emerik; brother, Reg (Gerry); sisters-in-law, Nancy Gammell, Linda Stewart; and special friend, Brian Archibald.
He was predeceased by brothers, Parker (Helen), Donald (Isabel) and Graham (Pat).
A special thanks to Palliative Care Co-ordinator, Angela MacDonnell and all the VON angels who made it possible and comfortable for Wayne to fulfill his wish to die at home with his wife at his side.
In keeping with Wayne’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
