Harley Fry April 1 1947 – December 15 2021

Passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, Harley Ford Fry, who resided in Summerville, originally of Charleston, NL, aged 74. Harley is predeceased by his parents: Lewis and Gladys. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife Rose; children: Irene (Jim), Fraser (Angie); grandchildren: Amelia and Sidney; brothers: Cecil (Frances), Alonso (Pansy), Angus (Mary), Sheldon (Tammy), sisters: Lily (Bill), Janice (Lester), Marie (Clyde), Vicki (Nathan), Sue (Richard), Mae (Hughie), and Sheila; sisters-in-law: Ena, Linda and Bernice; brother-in-law Albert John, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Harley was a skilled fisherman, with a strong work ethic. He had a passion for reading and playing guitar. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed picking berries in the summer and moose hunting in the fall. Harley was a salt-of-the-earth man, who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a dedicated husband and father and a friend to many. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Resting at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Summerville on Monday, December 20th from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm and Tuesday, December 21st from 9:00am – 11:00am. Funeral will take place at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 21st at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Summerville.
VaxPass is required for the visitations and the funeral service. Visitation is by appointment; please call 709-746-5788.
