Peacefully at home in Chesterville on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, Hans Schuler of Chesterville, age 66. Beloved husband of Alice Schuler (nee Harbers). Loving father of Daniel and Sharon Schuler (Noort) of Chesterville, Erin and Tim VanGilst of Chesterville, Emily and Martin Geertsema of Timberlea, NS. Dear brother of Henry and Betty Schuler of Renfrew, John and Connie Schuler of Brockville, and Margaret and Ed Feddema of Gananoque. Dear brother-in-law of Willy Harbers of Ottawa, Wilma and Bill Tibben of Brinston, Betty and Paul Dentz of Iroquois, Albert and Linda Harbers of Glen Stewart and Brian and Joy Harbers of Williamsburg. Hans will be fondly remembered by 10 grandchildren; Sam, Savanna, Emma, Jakob, and Alexa Schuler, Allison and Harrison VanGilst, Maria, Nicole, and Lauren Geertsema. He was predeceased by his parents Jan and Geertje Schuler and his father and mother-in-law Bill and Myntje Harbers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Williamsburg Christian Reformed Church on Friday, November 5th at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Grantley Cemetery. Donations to Timothy Christian School or the Canadian Foodgrains Bank would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
