Brown, Helen Lynne
It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Helen “Lynne” Brown on March 12 2021 at the age of 74. Born in North Bay but eventually settling in Ottawa.
Left with many loving memories are her husband Barry Dale, sons Ken (Deana) Brown, Drew (Traci) Dale and Daughter Bonney (Terry) Rowan. Nana to Kenny, Kristofer, Riley and Reagan. Great Nana to Bronson and Boston. Sisters Sharon Stevens, Beverly (Fred) Maltman, Jacqueline (Brian) Umlah, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd “Dutch” and Irene Hackenbrook, Brother in law Bill Stevens and Nephew Dennis Seguin.
Mom took pleasure in sending gifts and personal items to children in foreign countries and more recently bringing coffee and donuts to her local Fire Department and Paramedics to show her appreciation. She enjoyed traveling and always looked for an adventure wherever she went. We will never figure out how she could talk to strangers and somehow always find a connection.
The family looks forward to welcoming moms friends and family to a “Celebration of Her Life” once its safe to gather again.
In lieu of donations , we ask that you do something nice for somebody else unexpectedly, and without explanation.

I have lots of great memories of Lynne back when I was a young kid at Mal’s Campground. I spent many summer nights sitting by the campfire with Lynne. She was a great lady. Sorry for your loss. Have a good trip Lynne!
