Obituary of Gwendoline “Gwen” Fuggle
FUGGLE: Peacefully, her residence on Sunday, February 7, 2021, Gwendoline “Gwen” (Thompson) Fuggle, of London, formerly of Waterloo and Grand Bend, age 81. Beloved wife of David George Fuggle for 61 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Ian and Linda Fuggle of Belleville, Andrew and Dianne Fuggle of Brampton and Kathryn Carney of Mount Forest. Cherished nana of Alysha Carney, David Carney and Nathan Carney. Forever loved daughter of Florence Thompson of Grimsby, England and the late William Edward Bell Thompson. Dear sister and sister-in-law of William Thompson, Karen and Paul Rawcliffe all of England. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her sister Suzanne Stainton and brother-in-law Peter Stainton. An avid traveler with her husband, she visited all ten Canadian Provinces, crossing Canada coast to coast twice. They also visited all 50 US States, most of the Caribbean Islands and Central America. Her final trip was to the Canary Islands on the Queen Elizabeth. At her request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
