Entered into at his residence on Wednesday February 3, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Pauline Cyr who predeceased Gill on January 29th. Survived by his five children Diane Jackson (Mark), Joanne Cyr-Hewson (Robert deceased), Carole Mewett, Robert Cyr and Lisa Cyr-Auld (Jamie). Also survived by his five grandchildren Curtis (Travis) and Thomas Jackson, Alex Hewson (Niki) and Matthew and Katherine Mewett – Lowe. Fondly remembered by his four great grandchildren. Predeceased by his two great grandchildren Stuart and Daniel Jackson. Also survived by a number of brothers and sisters.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Rd. 15, Maitland on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
Covid protocols will be in effect with a limited number of registered guests in attendance at scheduled times.

A private Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be held at the Irvine Memorial Chapel with interment following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cancer Research Society or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care.
