1955-2021
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Guilda M. Lavoie-Pelletier
of Aroostook, NB, passed away peacefully at her home on November 29,
2021.
Guilda was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on August 9, 1955. She was the
daughter of the late Gilbert and Dorilda (Godbout) Lavoie. Guilda
leaves behind her sons, Andrew Lavoie (Erica) of Charlottetown, PE,
Matthew Pelletier (Samantha) of Grand Falls, NB; her eight
grandchildren; her sisters, Diana Bowmaster (Willis) of Aroostook, NB,
and Gisele O’Donnell (Kevin) of Saskatoon, SK; her brothers, Maurice
Lavoie of Vancouver Island, BC, and Mitchel Lavoie (Diana) of Wapske,
NB.
Guilda was predeceased by her parents and her infant brother, Roger
Lavoie.
Respecting Guilda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
held at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later
date. Interment will be in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery,
Aroostook, NB.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
