Greg was born in High River to Roberta and Leighton Clingman, they lived on the family farm in Blackie where he grew up, which has now spanned 5 generations. He met Phyllis Sewell in 7th grade and fell in love, they were married on July 5, 1975, in High River. He loved her unconditionally and lived his life for her.
He spent most of his life behind the big wheel hauling whatever was needed, he was able to do it all. He had a love for snowmobiling, was a proud member of the Lion’s Club and Tom and Jerry Club, and was an avid community supporter. When he wasn’t driving truck, he was driving his boys all over Southern Alberta for their hockey games. He loved spending time with his family.
Greg was an awesome guy to be around. He will always be remembered for his BIG, infectious laugh, his huge smile, and his incredible Clingman sense of humour. His loyalty to his family and friends was unconditional, his character and integrity will be remembered as shining beacons of his dedication to life.
