In loving memory of Greg Bryant 74 years. It is with tremendous sadness we announce his peaceful passing with family by his side on Thursday, June 17th, 2021 at Health Sciences North.
Cherished only son of William and Helmi Bryant (nee Aho) both predeceased. Greg was loved by many and will be sadly missed by his loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Greg was born in Sudbury on May 28, 1947. He moved to Kapuskasing when he was 18 and started a career with the Ministry of Natural Resources as a Conservation Officer, retiring in his early 50s. He was a certificated pilot and a proud life member of the Lions Club. The Lions club members were like family to him and will miss his presence. Greg enjoyed his “Paradise” at his beloved camp on Meldrum Bay which he made many happy memories with his family. His passions were hunting and fishing, especially with his dear friend Ray Quesnel. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed the little things, like a cold Molson Canadian.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the ICU staff, nurses, PSW’s and doctors at Health Sciences North, especially Dr. Theriault and nurses, Roxanne, Brock and Denise for their care and compassion.
Due to the current COVID19 social gathering restrictions, a funeral service will be held at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home by invitation only. He will be buried alongside his parents in the Park Lawn Cemetery.
Greg loved to help others, for those wishing to donate in his memory, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Lion’s Club of Sudbury would be appreciated. For donations or messages of condolence www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com.
