Obituary of Grant Barlow
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved Dad, Papa, Opa and Husband. Grant passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Survived by his daughters Lorrie (Mike) Westmoreland; Cindy (Kirk) Armstrong; Connie (Ian) Marshall; and Leslie (Jason) Saker; grandchildren Shannon (Jason), Samantha (David), Chase (Carly), Cameron, Connor, Makenna, Eastyn and Kade and great-grandchildren Violet, Walter, and Nell. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years Willie Barlow. Grant was much loved by a large extended family and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. After a successful career in manufacturing Grant retired and dedicated his life to his grandchildren. You could always find him at the arena or baseball diamond. Grant was an avid sports fan and did extensive volunteer work in Halton. Please think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched…for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on November 20 at 2314 Kirkburn Dr. Burlington from 1-4pm. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Expressions of remembrance to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
