Grant Marlatt 2021

Mr. Grant Marlatt
At the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Thursday August 12th, 2021, Mr. Grant Marlatt passed away in his 79th year. Cherished son of the late Henry and Georgina Marlatt. Beloved father of Christine Marlatt, Kenneth and his wife Monica, Rebecca Weaver and her husband Douglas, Tracy Wygeria, and Shawn Tiffin. Proud grandfather of Josh, Ashley, Cody, Curtis, Tyler, Justin, Krystle, Alexis, Jarrod, and Joseph. Dear friend of Patricia Tiffin. Dear brother of Lois Winship, Albert “Buddy” Marlatt, Katherine Clements (Don), and Elizabeth Whitney (Doug). Grant was a kind and loving father and Poppa to his children and grandchildren. He did countless things to help the members of his family in many ways. He spent much time in Southern Texas where he met many new friends. He enjoyed many social activities there, his favourite being line dancing. He not only loved to participate in it, he taught many classes over the years. Grant was an avid outdoorsman. His entire life he hunted. He enjoyed years of this with great friends, his best friends, as well as some of his family members who share the same passion. Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation. On-line condolences may be left at www.alexanderfuneralhome.ca
