Obituary of Graham Ross Rains
RAINS, Graham Ross – It is with great sadness that we the family of Graham Ross Rains 79 years old, of Crousetown, Lunenburg County, NS, announce his passing on Monday September 27, 2021, at South Shore Regional Hospital.
Born on May 18, 1942, Graham was predeceased by his parents, William and Vera Rains; brothers, Robert, David and William; sisters, Patricia and Gloria. Graham is survived by sisters, Gail and Elaine; his loving wife, Myrna. He is also survived by his children, Kim Cormier, of Upper Nine Mile River; Mike (Patti) Smith, of Lunenburg; Andy (Annette) Rains, of Western Shore; Heather (Jim) Chisholm, of Dartmouth; Jack (Tammy Naugler) Rains, of Spryfield; grandchildren, Dylan, Jason and Niamh.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. It is Graham’s wishes that there be no visitation and a family only graveside service. The family asks that any donations be made to St. Andrew’s United Church, Crousetown in c/o Shirley Turner, 7030 Hwy 331, Mill Village, NS, B0J 2H0.
