Passed away peacefully at home, with her husband by her side, on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Harold “Harry” Braam for 55 years. Loving mother of Douglas (Suzanne) Braam, Kenneth (Diane) Braam and Sheila Braam (Adrian Jones). Proud Grandma of Noah, Elijah, Carina, Silas, Terah, Amanda, Cate and Ezra. Dear sister of Eda Klompmaker, Bonnie Teeuwissen, Tina Gordon and Coby (John) Lees. Predeceased by her parents Teye and Betty Travaille, brother Botte Travaille and brothers-in-law Jerry Klompmaker, Robert Gordon and Jim VanderVoort, and sister-in-law of Hilda VanderVoort. Grace was a confident and happy homemaker, devoted to her family. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters.
Grace’s family will receive relatives and friends from 4:45 p.m.-7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 1 p.m. Please note that if you plan to attend the visitation or service, masks are mandatory and you must RSVP your attendance through the funeral home website or by calling 519-749-8467. Those unable to attend may view Grace’s service on Wednesday at 1 p.m. via the following live stream link: www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming. Interment will take place at Williamsburg Cemetery.
