Obituary of Gordon Warren Knorr
It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Warren Knorr announce his passing which occurred peacefully on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at his home in Barnesville surrounded by his loving family. Born in St. Martins, NB, on September 1, 1953, he was a son of the late Art and Eileen (Winslow) Floyd.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife Wanda; children: Wanetta (Trevor) Taber of Bloomfield, NB, Anthony (Natalie) Knorr of Belleisle, NB, Jamie (Kevin) Dalling of Barnesville, NB, and Amanda (George) Trecartin of Barnesville, NB; grandchildren: Cody (Catherine), Travis (Emily), Taylor (Chris), Abby, Chloe, Jade, Chase, and Jasmine; great-grandchild Uly; chosen brother & sister: Dwayne Blakney and Carmel (Blakney) Vivier; as well as many extended family members. In addition to his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his brother Gary Knorr.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Public visitations will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 5:00 to 8:00PM and Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM. A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held from Reid’s Chapel at 11:00AM on Sunday, August 8, 2021. The interment will take place at Covenanter Cemetery (Barnesville) following the service.
Donations in honour of Gordon may be made to the Covenanter Cemetery (Barnesville) or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through ReidsFH.com
