Obituary
Gordon Stanley Scott of Fort Macleod, beloved husband of the late Joanne Scott, passed peacefully in his sleep on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the age of 90 years.
Gordon is survived by his 3 daughters: Marjorie(Terry) Tyess, Barbara(Bob) Warren, Loretta(Jason) Trowbridge and 3 sons: Calvin(Cindy) Scott, Rick(Judy) Scott and Jerry(Brenda) Scott along with 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Gordon was predeceased by all his siblings as well as his parents James and Ella Scott.
Gordon was born in April 1931, he left school in the 4th grade to start working to help support the family. Gordon was a cowboy, through and through and even rode broncs for a while. Gordon married his wife of 64 years in August 1955. Together they had 6 beautiful children.
Gordon was a hard-working man for his whole life. He enjoyed spending his retirement on his hobby farm, surrounded by animals. Gordon enjoyed a good strong cup of cowboy coffee along with a game of cards. He dearly loved his family and his family loved him dearly.
