Obituary For Gordon Harry Glenn
Gordon Glenn, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of smith, AB, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the age of 69 years.
Gordon was born on March 29, 1952, in McLennan, AB. He was raised in McLennan, then in smith for most of his teen years. Gordon was a Pipeline Welder for most of his career and loved life on their hobby farm raising a family. He enjoyed woodworking in his retirement.
Gordon was selfless, meticulous, confident, loving proud and devoted. He enjoyed all hobby farm activities (especially haying), skidooing and woodworking.
Gordon will be sadly missed by his wife Judy; sons Travis (Danae) and Kris (Char); daughter Julie (Mark); grandchildren: Ava, Liam, Tristan, Davis, Brinley, Owen and Lyla; brothers: Ken (Rolie), Wayne (Katherine), Bobby and Larry; as well as brother in-law Don.
Gordon was predeceased by his father Clarence Glenn, mother May Glenn and sister Linda Nadon.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
A live stream of the service will be accessible 15 minutes prior to the service on Gordon’s obituary located on the Oliver’s Funeral Home website.
Memorial Donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada AB and NWT Division (150, 9405 50 St., Edmonton, AB, T6B 2T4).
