1942-2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Gord Johnston announces his suddent passing on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at LHSC – University Hospital, in his 80th year. Gord’s gentle spirit will be deeply missed by his wife Teresa (nee Galagher) and his three sons Bradley and his partner Kathleen, James and his partner Mary, and Gordon Daniel. Cherished brother of Evelyn Turand and brother-in-law of James Gallagher and his wife Linda. Gord was deeply involved and active in his community with many years of volunteering for both NELCE and the London Public Library. His absence will be felt by the many friends that he made during those years of service. Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London, Ontario, on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Church, 511 Cheapside Drive, on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 10 am. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a limited number are allowed to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass.
