Gord passed away peacefully on Saturday November 27, 2021 at the Stonewall General Hospital with family by his side.
Gord was born October 11, 1940 in Alexandria, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents; Christina (Budge) and Leonard MacDonald, step-father Walter Bremmer; his brothers; Kenneth, Keith, his sister Joycelyn, sisters-in-law Zennovia, Jeannette and brother-in-law Jim.
Gord is survived by his beloved wife Annette (Tremblay) of 58 years, brother Don and sister Catherine. His memory will forever be cherished by his children; Joseph (Melanie), Tracy (Blair), and six grandchildren; Hailey (Darrell), Alysia, Quinton, Sylar, Declan, and Abby. He will also be missed by his brothers-in-law; Ken (Donna) and George, sister-in-law Cathy, as well as nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
The entire family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Graham & the staff at Stonewall General Hospital, and Palliative Care Team for their care and compassion given to Gord over the last few months.
Gord’s family will celebrate his life privately with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
