Gofton Frances March 5 1946 to February 6 2021

Frances Gofton, formerly of Fordwich and Kitchener, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Saturday February 6, 2021 at the age of 74. Frances grew up in Listowel and moved to Kitchener in 1965. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of the late Douglas Gofton who predeceased her in 2019. Loving mother of Doug (Susan) and Dave (Bev). Special grandma of Josh (Heather), Amy and Katie. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Cathy (Merv) Poworoznyk, and Brian (Kitty) Lang. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents Roy and Ellen (Greensides) Finley, her sister Marriane Lang, sisters-in-law Gloria (Joe) Thompson and Delphine (Ross) Wicks.
A private family funeral service will be held at Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood on Wednesday February 10, 2021 with Pastor Richard Frey officiating. The service will be live streamed and the link and time will be posted on the Funeral Home website when available. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
