Gloria Kenwell, of Wasaga Beach passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital with family by her side, at the age of 74. Gloria, cherished daughter of Marie Fuller (late Carl) was predeceased by her husband Bill Moore. Loving mother of Carl (Christine) Kenwell and Debbie (Bruce) Bowles. She was treasured by her grandchildren Cheyenne, Cassidy, Melissa and Joshua. Dear sister of the late Marie (Robert) Corless, Carla (late John) Carter, Darlene Fuller and Joan (Charles) Weaton. Gloria will be deeply missed by her extended family as well as her many friends and neighbours; specifically by her canine friends who loved to walk past Gloria’s house as she was always waiting with a treat for them. Gloria was a friendly and outgoing person, who loved playing cards with the other Probus ladies, early morning bird-watching and painting ceramic Christmas houses. She worked at the Superstore for over 29 years and made numerous friends there. She was a caregiver and her family was most important to her.
The family welcomes well-wishers to attend a come-and-go celebration of Gloria’s life in the Oakview Room at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex, 1724 Mosley Street, Wasaga Beach on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
