It is with broken Hearts we announce the passing of Glenna Marlene Barron on Sept.1st 2021 in her 69th year. She was born in Halifax on June 17th 1952 the 7th of 12 children born to Edgar and Beulah Berglund. Glenna was predeceased by her Partner David Cocks. Glenna is survived by Sons Jimmy (Glacel ) Edmonton Alberta, Corey (Amy) Niagara Falls and daughter Crystal (Mostafa) Halifax. Grandchildren Chelsea, Casey, Logan, Anabella, Isabella. Great Grandchildren Madison. Josh and Beckett. Glenna is survived by brothers Dennis Berglund (Sharon), Rodney Berglund (Pat) Carl Berglund (Mae), Larry Berglund (Pauline) Shawn Berglund (Debbie) Jody Berglund ( Marley) Sisters Diane Bernard, Darlene Hiltz (Perry), Debbie Hollis (Lefty) Melinda Sampson (Michael) Sonji Arseneau (Gary). Glenna worked in the Fabric Shop at IMP. David and Glenna loved spending winters in Arizona and later spending the summer at the Trailer in their favourite camp ground. Having visits with grandchildren and great grandchildren was a happy time for Glenna. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eastern Passage Community Funeral Home. Visitation is Tuesday Sept. 7th from 6 pm- 8 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday Sept.8th 11:00 am at St. Peters Anglican Church Eastern Passage. Family and invited guests only.
Donations in Glenna’s Memory may be made to Canadian Breast Cancer Research.
