Glenn’s Obituary
BANKS, Glenn Tremaine ~ age 70 of Kingston, NS passed away peacefully Saturday, July 31, 2021 in the Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Alton “Ted” Banks and Verna “Tood” (Stronach) Banks. After high school, Glenn served as a proud member of the RCMP stationed in Newfoundland for 9 years. Returning home, he was employed with various businesses lastly working for Annapolis Valley Health. Glenn was a veteran member of the Kingston District Fire Department. He loved the outdoors and in his free time enjoyed hunting and fishing with his three younger brothers. Glenn was also an avid weather watcher and loved to brag when he outsmarted the weatherman with his local forecasts. Glenn is survived by his son, Aaron, Middleton; brothers, Erwin (Tammy), Nictaux; Graham (Wendy), Wilmot; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Lynda, brother Kevin, daughter Jennifer, son Jason, and former wives Rhonda and Leslie. In keeping with Glenn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, August 6, 2021 in North Kingston Cemetery with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Kingston District Fire Department. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448.
