Peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in his 88th year. Glenn was welcomed into the
loving arms of his Saviour. Beloved husband to Ruby for 56 years. Loving father of Donna Sherlock (Frank), David Shirton (Rebecca) and grandchildren Jennifer McKenzie (Jason), Trevor Sherlock (Nadia), Melanie Sherlock (Bill), Benjamin Shirton, Jacob Shirton, Skyler Allati and Tara Allati, plus eight great grandchildren. Also survived by brother in law George Peterson (Becky), sister in laws Velma Shirton and Shirley Denchfield (Roger) and their families.
Glenn was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Eva Shirton and brother Bruce.
Glenn was born in Dunnville, later moving to Fonthill when he started a job at Atlas Steels. He had the privilege of working for 34 years and enjoyed 30 years of retirement. Glenn was an avid walker and cycled many miles up until recent years, he knew many along his routes and enjoyed visiting. He also enjoyed attending his grandsons hockey and baseball games. He was a faithful member of Faith Welland Church and a supporter of Open Arms Mission.

The funeral service to honour Glenn’s life will take place at Faith Welland, 380 S Pelham Road, on Saturday, April 17, beginning at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Fonthill Cemetery.
