Glenn Hogaboam Thursday March 25th 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Hogaboam on March 25, 2021, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Betty (Rowsome) for 58 years and cherished father of Anne and her husband Peter Gray. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Dear brother of Robert and his wife Cathy Brennan, Diann Rigg and her husband Douglas (deceased), and Wayne and his wife Gerry. Glenn was a beloved brother-in-law to Gerald Rowsome (deceased) and his wife Erma, and Jean and her husband Donald Brawley. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Lillian (McCaslin) and brother Harold.
Glenn grew up on a farm near Brockville, Ontario, attended Kemptville Agricultural College and had a rewarding career as a researcher with Agriculture Canada at the Experimental Farm in Ottawa helping to develop new crop varieties. He was a faithful and very active member of City View United Church with many good friends in the congregation. He had a great love of music and sang in the Ottawa Carleton Male Choir. Glenn enjoyed gardening, nature and spending time at Anne and Peter’s cottage.
Glenn gave of his time freely to help others and made friends easily with his quiet and gentle way, always remembering their birthdays and where they were from. He will be forever remembered with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at City View United Church at a future date, Covid permitting. In Memoriam donations to City View United Church, or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation would be appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Glenn Hogaboam Thursday March 25th 2021..
