Glen Johnston Friday May 28th 2021

JOHNSTON, Glen
It is with great sadness that the family of Glen Johnston announce his peaceful passing at home on May 28, 2021. Beloved husband of Janet for 61 years; dearly loved and deeply missed by his children: Kevin and Darlene Johnston, Karie Johnston and Trevor Owen, Julie and Brian Morrison, Darrin and April Johnston; Cherished Grandpa/Papa of his grandchildren Linda (Travis), Ian, Kristen (Mike), Kaitlyn, Brandon, Andrew, Daniel, Emily (Kelsey), Hannah, Jaden, and great-grandchildren: Mercedes, Porscha, Lincoln, Christopher, Landon, Kaylee, Evan, Samuel, and Walker. Dear brother of Bill and Doreen Johnston; Brother-in-law of Marylou Johnston and Pat Walker (Murray); Uncle to many special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Morley and Eileen Johnston, and brothers Merville, Orland, Carl, and Eric. Glen was a hard-working truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and our many years camping and traveling in our motorhome. A private funeral was held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia with interment at Sinclairville Cemetery. Special thanks to the Lin and all of the very special PSWs from St. Elizabeth for all of their wonderful care and assistance over the past several years, as well as many nursing staff of CBI Home Health Nursing, Doctor Xu and nurse practitioner, Amy. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to York United Church or the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated.
