Gladys passed away at her residence on Thursday December 9, 2021 at the age of 91 years. Dear wife to the late Ralph MacMillan (1995). Cherished mother of Wayne (Cynthia Ayres) and Mark. Loved Grandma of Jessica Robbins (Tom), Quinton (Cassandra) and Alexia; and great-grandmother to Emma and Rustin. Dearly missed by her sister Mildred Garnham (the late John Garnham). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Hilda Schram (nee Streater); brothers William (late wife Rose), Harvey (late wife Tina), Burt (surviving wife Rose), Clarence, Lorne and her sister Eileen (surviving husband Charlie Beke).
Gladys was well known in the greater community by generations of families as, the Christmas Tree Lady on Spragues Rd.
Cremation has taken place and Gladys’ family will gather to celebrate her life at a later date. Final Interment will take place at Ayr Cemetery.
