Obituary for
Giuseppe Alampi
May 29, 1952 – November 4, 2021
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Giuseppe Alampi on November 4, 2021. Lovingly known as Joe or Pepé, he was our husband, father, nonno, uncle and all around amazing man.
Joe was born and raised in Pellaro, RC, Italy. After meeting the love of his life he crossed the ocean to be with her and build a life together in Canada.
Left to mourn and cherish him and his memory are his wife of 48 years, Paola, his children, Natale (Elena) and Teodora (Patrick) Berry; his four grandchildren (his pride and joy), Jacob, Daniel, Sofia and Vienna; his mother, Teodora Stillitano; his siblings, Teresa (Francesco), Carmelo (Lilla) and Nicola (Angela); his uncle, Salvatore (Luisa) Alampi; Paola’s siblings, Frank (Angela), Cathy, Bruno (Lida), Anna Maria and Agnes; plus an enormous family and countless friends in Canada and Italy.
He is predeceased by his father, Natale Alampi and two brothers-in-law, Vincenzo and Demetrio Zumbo.
Prayer service Friday, November 12 at 8 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
Per Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program, please be prepared to provide proof of Vaccinations (along with valid ID for those 18 and over), or proof of a negative rapid COVID test taken within 72 hours of entry, or an original medical exemption letter.
