Obituary
Gilbert “Glenn” Gourlie, 69, of Sechelt passed away peacefully on September 11th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Glenn grew up in Lipton Saskatchewan, and was a proud big brother to Gloria (Grant) Drever. After RCMP cadet training, Glenn moved to Vancouver where he met and married the love of his life, Nancy. For 20 Years, Glenn worked as an RCMP Officer before moving the family to Ontario to run the family Chrysler dealership in Collingwood, then in Midland. Seven years ago he retired to Sechelt, British Columbia where he was an active member of Newcomers and Power Squadron.
Glenn was predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Esther Gourlie. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his daughters and son-in-laws Jennifer (Scott) Merrett and Sara (Gary) Schreider. Glenn was loved dearly by his four grandchildren Max, Jake, Olivia and Maria, and many extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held in Glenn’s honour at Devlin Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Saturday September 18th. Family and friends are welcome to join the service via Zoom at the following link:

There will be a graveside service in Lipton, Saskatchewan at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the Sunshine Coast Food Bank, www.sccss.ca/get-involved/donate
