The death occurred at Summerset Manor, Summerside on Friday,
October 1, 2021 of Gertrude Elizabeth Campbell of Enmore aged 82,
beloved wife of Lloyd MacDougall. Gertrude was born on December 16,
1938 in Mount Pleasant, daughter of the late George and Charlotte
(MacArthur) Bridges.
Dear mother to Winston
“Bim” (Nettie), Blair (Viva), Linda (Kenny) Dusky, Reta
(Jimmy) Moore, Leo (Marion Phillips), Darlene (James) Noseworthy,
Margie (Robert) Ellsworth, Terry (Sandra), Bernard (Marc) and Trent
(Tanya). Loving grandmother to numerous grandchildren, great and great
great grandchildren. Dear sister to Leona Rayner and Henry Bridges.
Sister in law to Annie Bridges-MacMillan, Irma Siddall, Rita (Hilton)
Wilson, Vernon (Erma) MacDougall, Darlene (Stanley) Culleton, Sandra
MacDougall and Ronald “Bud’ Culleton.
Gertrude was
predeceased by her parents, son Junior, grandsons Bradley Benjamin,
Bradley Terry, Adam, daughter in law Betty, brothers Winifred, James,
sisters Mabel, Elicia, Bessie and Cadilla in infancy.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary. Due to
current restrictions private visiting hours and funeral for invited
guests only on Tuesday. Interment to follow in the Victoria West
Peoples Cemetery.
In memory of Gertrude, memorials can be
sent directly to Summerset Manor(Alzheimer unit),205 Lefurgey Ave.
