Germaine Virginia Carr 2021

Obituary of Germaine Virginia Carr
CARR, GERMAINE (née Desormeaux) – Peacefully, on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Garden City Manor St. Catharines at age 88. Beloved wife of the late Luther (2018). Loving, caring mother of Marie “Terry” Wilsher St-Jean and the late Dennis (2013). Germaine will be fondly remembered by Amanda (George) Baxter, the late Nancy (Roy) Summers, Terry (Karen) Carr, Beau Baxter, Holly Baxter, Adam Semenuk, Josh Semenuk, Stephen Carr, Lorretta Levesque and family, Laurie Green, Kevin Green and her large extended family and her many friends. Germaine was always so much fun! She loved organizing all her large family events -where more was always merrier – sitting on her back porch, working in her flower gardens and spent many nights watching Survivor. She loved to camp, getting to visit so many different places, though her favorite was Hawaii. Germaine’s family will be having a private service on Saturday, January 16, 2021, but it will be livestreamed at 1:00 p.m. for those unable to attend in person. Please check www.Bocchinfusofh.com for the link to the livestream, or to leave condolences to the family. A public celebration of Germaine’s life will be held once conditions allow. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
Our family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Wan and the staff at Garden City Manor for the wonderful care they showed Germaine.
