Gaensicke, Gerland
Passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Gerland Gaensicke at age 78. Beloved husband of Pat Gaensicke and dear father of Christine Martin (Steve Keeley), Jennifer Couvreur (Peter) and Michelle Armstrong (late Scott). Papa to Mathew (Brianna), Braedon (Miranda) and Ashlee Couvreur, Jeremy and Cole Martin and Joshua and Ayden Armstrong. Great-grandfather of Maisie and Ophelia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fritz and Ruth Gaensicke and by his brother Roy. Cremation has taken place, no services are planned at this time. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation (for the Palliative care Unit) would be appreciated by the family. In the care of Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee.
