Obituary of Gerhard Hildebrand
Hildebrand, Gerhard – At Linhaven Home in St. Catharines, Gerhard Hildebrand passed away peacefully at the age of 99 on Thursday November 4, 2021. Predeceased by first wife Maria. Lovingly remembered by wife Edith and his daughters Gabrielle (Peter) Kloekner and Christine (Carl) Doede. Cherished Grandfather of Casey and Caitlin. Loved step-father of Tim (Linda) Dettlaff and Christine (Butch) Lewis; & step-grandchildren Shannon and Greg.
Pre – registration is required to attend visitation which will take place at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 3 – 6pm. All Provincial protocols will be in place including the mandatory wearing of masks. Please follow this link to register. Funeral service will be held on Thursday November 11, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church at 10:30am with 1 hour visitation prior. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Bible Translators Canada.
