Geraldine’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Geraldine Isabel Sheppard announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the age of 75 years. She leaves to mourn with fond loving memories her five children: Wanda (Ben), Michael (Ruby), Gerry (Karen), Barry (Tammy) and Bonnie (Adam); Her grandchildren: Chris (Katie), Johnny (Hollie), Krystle, Justin (Amanda), Travis (Jordan), Jeffrey (Brittany), Meagan (Mitchell), Morgan, and Dylan and also her great-grandchildren. Her sister: Marie Park; brothers: Gerald (Edna), Scott (Rose); brother-in-law: Paul Sheppard and sister-in-law Dossie Pennell as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.and her fur baby, Cody. Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Ronald (2018), her parents: Ronald & Jessie Park, her sister: Barbara Pennell, her brother: Melvin Park; her brothers in law: Foster Pennell, Raymond Gilbert, Ralph Pennell, Max Pottle and Saul Park; her sisters in law: Pauline Sheppard, Sylvia Gilbert, Marie Pottle. At Geraldine’s request, cremation has taken place. A private visitation for the family will be held from St. James Anglican Church in Lark Harbour on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, January 31, 2021, with Rev. Effie Organ officiating. Interment to follow at the St. James Anglican Church Cemetery in Lark Harbour. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations in memory of Geraldine can be made to the St. James Anglican Church Fund in Lark Harbour, NL.
