Geraldine G. Patterson
1941-2021
At the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews NB on March 10, 2021,
Mrs. Geraldine G. (Hanley) Patterson, wife of the late T. Frederick
Patterson formerly of Back Bay NB. Geraldine was born in Back Bay NB
on March 8,1941. She is survived by her daughters: Donalda (David)
Cook of Back Bay NB, Melody Patterson of St. George NB and Myra (Wade)
Hooper of Back Bay NB; grandsons: David Cook, Steven and Devon McLeod;
four brothers; six sisters; as well as several nieces, nephews and
cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband: Fred; one daughter in infancy; grandson: Corey McLeod; one
brother; one sister.
Prior to her retirement, Geraldine worked for several years
for Connors Brothers. Following her retirement, she spent many hours
on the beach Periwrinkling. She was a avid reader who also loved
crocheting. When younger, she enjoyed skating as well as visiting the
camp in Harvey with her husband, Fred. Geraldine was a member of the
Cornerstone Tabernacle in St. George where she taught Sunday School
for a number of years.
In keeping with Geraldine’s wishes, there will be no
visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside service will
be held at a later date at Back Bay Community Cemetery. In Geraldine’s
memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated by the family.
