Obituary of Gerald Baxter
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry, with his wife by his side, at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the age of 69. Dearly beloved husband of Blanche (Foucault). Predeceased by his parents Erling and Margenia “Bubbles” Baxter. Survived by his brothers Greg (Lynda) of Granum, Alberta, Paul (Suzanne) of High River, Alberta and his sister Heather of Lethbridge, Alberta. Brother-in-law of Claire Janveaux, late Armand, Jean, late Rene, Nicole and Paul. Loving uncle of his nieces and nephews. Due to Covid-19 restrictions no formal services will be held. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitoulin Island. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6B 0B6, 705-945-7758).
